Friday Fun

Friday we took a trip to Chattanooga to pick up Aunt Leila. She is staying the week with Poppa Bob. She is a jewel. I hope to be like her when I grow up! The morning started extra early. We were pulling out of our drive way at 6:20. The girls were snuggled in their car seats with their jammies and blankets. Our plan? We were going to tour the Mayfield Dairy on the way down, but long story short...we missed the exit. Therefore, we arrived earlier than expected to pick up Aunt Leila. Grace has always loved to be with Aunt Leila. Sadly, we don't get to see her as much as we would like. It was a wonderful treat to share the day with her. The girls enjoyed her teacup collection as you can see and we all drank tea while Aunt Leila finished getting ready.

We began our day of driving in the rain around Morristown, and the rain followed us down and back. I think we passed an ark along the way! When we left Chattanooga the rain had changed to Forrest Gump rain. We stopped in Athens to see how they make ice cream so cold. That is the question Grace wanted answered. We found out how they do it. Don't you love our hair nets?

After ice cream, we drove to Sweetwater and had a yummy meal at one of Grace's favorite places to eat...can you guess....check out the game on the table!!
