A weekend away....

We took a weekend to get away and enjoy our family before we return to our school schedules. Our cabin was beautiful and the girls enjoyed having Mamaw & Papaw to play with.

On Friday we went to Wonderworks...Just a mommy and K teacher's opinion here...
it was a great experience for free (teacher appreciation week). Not the place really for preschoolers and I don't plan on taking my K students because they just are big enough to get to participate in all activities. I think mom, dad, Rob and I had the most fun playing with the exhibits and learning the random knowledge that is posted throughout.

LOVE THIS KID

Cool art

After exploring we headed over to the outlets to shop a little, then we returned to the Hoot n Holler dinner show.

What a ham...Scraps invited kids up on stage to be part of the show...EGB loved dancing on stage.

Can you tell she was sleeping right before this picture was made?

EGB told them it was our anniversary, so they sang to us Let Me Call You Sweetheart

We returned to Wonderworks to play a little more before we headed back to the cabin.

Kids of all ages like to play with bubbles

When concentrating on your work it is necessary to hold your tongue just right.

Saturday we traveled to Big Ridge State Park for Rob's sister's wedding.
I just love taking sweet sister pictures.

The wedding was outside...no seating, so my kids and aunt Claire stayed across the creek and played with someone's dog that came along for the ceremony.

It was 100 degrees outside and my babies were BURNING up...
