OOPs....

I forgot to post pictures of 1st grade's field trip to the Gray Fossil site! I had the priveldege of being Mrs. A that day as she was out of town. So I had double the fun, I was the teacher and a mommy for 1st grade's trip. Perhaps a perk of teaching at your child's school.... Regardless, I was happy to get to tag along as it was a day prior to spring break and I used all 3 of my personal days in January

Fake Smile for mom.

In Deep thought while studying the fossils.

Learning with Daddy.

Here you will see our future son in law. :) Zach (in the middle) is 2 days younger than EGB and his mom also teaches at our school. They are the tallest kids in their class and they play together almost every day.

Flat EGB visits SUE. Did you know that "they" don't know if Sue is a girl or boy. That cracked up the kids that the scientists don't know girls from boys.

She really enjoyed reading the information on her own. I was very proud she could read the info, but also sad that she didn't need me to help her.

Digging for fossils.
We didn't find any and our guide was more interested in the high school girls that were there, so we weren't really sure what we were suppose to find.

Examining the cast

Checking out the fountain as we left.

After our yummy lunch at Warriors we headed over to the Boundless Playground
EGB and her friend Savannah

Enjoying the zip line

My oldest Child enjoying the zip line

Then his real work began. The kids weren't tall enough to reach the handle so R did what any Daddy would do, he sacrificed his leg to the enjoyment for 6 & 7 yr olds!

And one of the funniest things I saw all day....She was spinning so fast she fell off, and I was laughing and of course taking her picture.
